apriltwoeighty: recent goings on...

things have been busy lately, with ups & downs, but definitely more ups! this lovely maine summer seems to be coming to a close (and although i'm looking forward to fall and less humidity, i'll be a bit sad to see it all go), and despite working 9-5 monday through friday i really feel as though i've been able to enjoy a lot of it.

the boyfriend and i have been able to spend some good time together, it really feels like things are better with us. we can talk through our differences more easily, we've been able to spend some quiet time together at the beach or on the motorcycle or just infront of the tv, and knowing that my physical therapy will help me to feel a lot better (in general and specific ways, physically and mentally) we can see the future a little more easily. knowing that there is help for our/my problems (via counseling and PT), its been so relieving.

here are some photos from the past few weeks - including a daytrip up the coast with my parents, and a trip down the coast to visit ruth who was visiting with her boyfriend in a little cabin... getting to finally meet her was so awesome, its nice when you know someone just gets you. :)

our garden has been doing pretty well still, except for the fact that we lost a huge chunk of our zucchini plant. i'm hoping that the other part hangs on but its not looking good. we have been getting some cukes, tomatoes, basil, squash, and our corn is on its way!

aaaaaaand, as usual, we've had some cones on cats. hahha... poor kitties. honey has had a raw spot on her leg - from trying to dig taco meet out of the garbage disposal and then licking herself too much (no joke, she's disgusting!); and wookiee had a scratch on his eye again. the house of handicapped kitties is never a dull moment.
