did my federal taxes tonight.. must wait until tomorrow evening to do my state (for free).
i'm going to be unusually responsible this year with my tax refund, and put it completely towards paying off my one remaining (and usable) credit card. i should be able to pay down 3/4 of it, which will feel nice starting a new year. i used it a bit around the holidays, and recently on my new ipod! ;)
in other news, we went to both whole foods and trader joe's tonight for groceries.. and i made a huge fruit salad!! i'm allergic to a lot of different fruits, so i have to be careful what i choose, but i'm really excited to dig in for breakfast! since everything is out of season around here, i'm thinking it will bring a little bit of summer to a wintery stormy day.
